Booking Reservation
In order to confirm your booking, ChicRoom Barcelona must receive the online prepayment. The prepayment of the booking is processed through a secured payment platform and all main credit cards are accepted. The required prepayment amount depends on: the selected apartment, the number of guests and the length of your stay. This amount is clearly indicated in the reservation process on our website www.chicroombarcelona.com
Please note that the booking is not confirmed until the prepayment is received; you then receive the booking confirmation by email. Your reservation is valid and confirmed upon receipt of the prepayment made online and accepted. A confirmation email is sent directly including all detailed information for your arrival in Barcelona.
Payment and deposits
The remaining balance, along with the damage deposit, needs to be paid in cash upon arrival, unless otherwise stated. You will be welcomed by the owner or his representative directly at the accommodation address. Some properties accept credit card payment. Please be aware that there may be an additional cost for using this payment method. Any other payment method accepted besides cash is specified in the booking confirmation sent by email. Please refer to your booking confirmation to find out what payment method is accepted upon your arrival.
Exceptionally, the payment can be made can be agreed by bank transfer only for bookings made at least 7 days prior to arrival, this guarantees that the payment has been made correctly. Any related cost to a bank transfer shall be borne by the client.
The security deposit amount is defined according to the type of accommodation and guarantees the proper care of the accommodation premises and of the furniture and fittings therein. The accommodation owner or property representative has the right to refuse admittance to clients who do not pay the required security deposit. In the event that the accommodation is left in the same condition as it was on the day of arrival, the security deposit is refunded at your departure, after the owner or representative has inspected the accommodation.
ChicRoom Barcelona is not responsible for any dispute arising from a security deposit refund.
Cancellation or change
Cancellation fees depend on notice given and are as follows:
- Notice given less than 15 days before: 50% of the total balance.
- Notice given less than 24 hours or no prior notice: 100% of the total balance.
Please note that the prepayment reservation deposit is non-refundable, not even in the case of force majeure.
To modify the number of guests: with fewer guests, the remaining balance stays the same; with more guests, you will be required to pay the supplement.
In the event that the client should changes their dates, it will be understood as a new stay and it will be subject to the cancellation conditions.
Requesting an apartment change from that of your confirmed booking is considered as a de facto cancellation. To change an apartment; you must make a new booking. A confirmed booking cannot be transferred from one accommodation to another.
Before your arrival: In the event that the owner can not provide you, the client, with the apartment that was booked ChicRoom Barcelona will endeavour to find you a property of similar characteristics, subject to availability. If no agreement can be reached both contractual parties are authorised to cancel the contract. In this case ChicRoom Barcelona will refund to the client the prepayment (except the part corresponding to the days that the apartment was used, if this were the case). ChicRoomBarcelona will neither be liable for further claims by the client nor for any damages, losses, lost profits, direct or indirect costs, arising from such cancellation.
Check-in/Check-out
Check-in time: after 2pm
Check-out time: before 11am
We will attempt to accommodate all necessary arrival times. In order to do so, we ask that you contact your manager accommodation as soon as possible with your flight or train information. We ask that you call them from the airport, after collecting your luggage and before making your way to the apartment. This way we know whether you have arrived on time or not, as often times planes, trains, and automobiles are delayed or rescheduled. If, for any reason, your arrival is earlier, please let us know in advance so we might try to accommodate you before.
Please note that for arrivals later than 10:00 pm there is an extra-charge of 30€.
Cleaning
The apartment shall be cleaned prior to the arrival of each client. When leaving, the client is obliged to leave the apartment in a reasonable condition.
Number and identity of the guests
The client will inform ChicRoomBarcelona of the number of guests included within the booking. Unless otherwise agreed by ChicRoomBarcelona, only the number of persons indicated by the client when booking shall be authorised to use the apartment. The number of persons who may use the apartment may not exceed the number of persons allocated for each apartment, except for children under three years of age.
Pets are only allowed where permission has specifically been granted.
In the event of any infringement of the aforementioned obligations, ChicRoomBarcelona at its sole discretion will be entitled to request the client to leave the apartment, and the client shall have no right to claim any type of compensation.
Behaviour
The client signing the check in form will be liable for the correct and decent behaviour of all the persons accompanying him/her. Should that person or any of the people accompanying him/her not behave in a suitable and responsible way, ChicRoomBarcelona shall be entitled to request the client and the persons accompanying him/her to leave the apartment without the right for the latter to claim any type of compensation.
Please observe that ChicRoomBarcelona Terms and Conditions with regard to disturbances, loud music and parties are very clear: ALL ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. Guests staying in a ChicRoom Barcelona apartment should know that if parties or loud music are heard, or neighbours complain and/or police are called, it can result in immediate eviction regardless of the time of day or night. This will also result in loss of prepaid rent and refundable damage deposit.
Also note that by booking with ChicRoomBarcelona you have already accepted our terms and conditions and will therefore be expected to abide by these rules. You will also be expected to sign these rules upon check-in on your arrival day.
QUIET TIME IS EVERY DAY FROM 22.00 PM to 10.00 AM
We appreciate your collaboration in this matter and hope you understand that these rules are necessary as these apartments are all situated in residential buildings and the nightly rest of other inhabitants must be respected.
In case of any infringement of the aforementioned obligations, ChicRoom Barcelona at its sole discretion will be entitled to request the client to leave the apartment, and the client shall have no right to claim any type of compensation.
Liabilities
ChicRoom Barcelona nor the owner of the apartment shall be liable for any direct or indirect damages that may arise as a consequence of the use by the client of the apartment, including without limitation, damages, insurance, losses because of fires, robbery or criminal behaviour.
ChicRoom Barcelona mediates in the name of the owner or property manager, any complaint should be directed directly to the owner or manager of the accommodation during the guest stay.
Our Website
All apartment descriptions and information is supplied by the apartments featured. Whilst ChicRoomBarcelona do their utmost to maintain accuracy and to check details wherever possible, ChicRoom Barcelona cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions that may arise.
ChicRoomBarcelona also reserve the right to change information published on the site at any time including rates, descriptions and photographs. ChicRoom Barcelona makes no warranty or representation about the fitness or suitability of any product or service advertised on its web site.
ChicRoomBarcelona reserves the right to update any of its terms and conditions at any time, as may be required and as may be in line with the company's business. The onus is placed on all parties, using the site, to undertake adequate measures to ensure that they visit any such terms and conditions on a regular basis. By agreeing to use this site, it is implied that any such changes are accepted by any such third party and, that any such third party undertakes to comply with any such changes.
These terms do not affect consumer statutory rights.
