In order to reserve your rent apartment in Barcelona, send us an e-mail to info@chicroombarcelona.com, citing the period that you wish to book and the number of people. We will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm availability and the total price of your stay. 2. How do I confirm my reservation? Payment works as follows: as soon as ChicRoom Barcelona confirms the availability of your rent apartment in Barcelona, you will have to prepay the 20% reservation deposit which should be made via bank transfer or credit card. The rest of the payment is due in cash on arrival day at the apartment. There are some apartments that we can take full payment by credit card by adding 2% to the total. For details, please see "Terms & Conditions" section in our web site. (N.B: The keys will not be provided until the balance of 80% balance payment has been made) 3. Is a deposit required? Yes, for your “rent apartment in Barcelona” there is a deposit which will be returned upon arrival at the apartment. The amount depends on the apartment chosen and is usually between 150 and 400 Euros. 4. How do I cancel a booking? If the client cancels a fully paid reservation, there is a cancellation charge that will depend on the number of days before the beginning of the rental period. Please note that the 20% reservation deposit is non-refundable: - More than 90 days before: 20% of the total amount. - 60-89 days before: 30% of the total amount. - 30-59 days before: 50% of the total amount. - Less than 30 days before: 100% of the total amount. - If for any reason beyond their control, including force majored. 5. What happens if I break anything? In the case of any damage being caused in the apartment, please contact Chic Room Barcelona immediately to facilitate repair/replacement and the calculation of cost if necessary. 6. What time do I have to check in and check out? Your accommodation in Barcelona will be at you disposal from 3 p.m. Checking out should take place before 11 a.m. If you need to check out later or check in earlier than the stipulated times, let us know before your arrival and we will our best to attend to your wishes. 7. When will I get the keys? Upon arrival at your accommodation in Barcelona, a member of our staff will be waiting for you in order to show you in and provide you with the keys of the apartment. 8. Can I drink the tap water? The water in Barcelona is clean and safe for drinking. Nevertheless, in some zones there is a higher level of sodium and it can taste a little bitter for some people’s tastes. In general, we recommend you buy mineral water at the supermarket. 9. Who can help me if I need any help or if I require any information during my stay? During your stay in accommodation in Barcelona, Chic Room Barcelona will be delighted to assist you with any query you may have during our working hours. You will also be provided with a mobile number to contact in the case of emergency outside of normal working hours. 10. Is a voltage adaptor required for the use of electronic devices? Visitors from outside Europe will require a voltage adaptor. European visitors, with the exception of Great Britain and Ireland, will not require an adaptor |
